Oral Rehabilitation is the specialty of Dentistry that deals with restoring the function, aesthetics, stability and harmony of the oral-dental system when it is strongly altered by the loss of partial or total teeth.
The Oral Rehabilitator has the task of diagnosing and proposing the appropriate treatment plan for highly complex patients who need to recover the integrity of their dental system and thus, their oral health. For this, it combines in an integral way the areas of Restorative Dentistry (direct and indirect fillings), Removable Prostheses (full and partial, metallic or acrylic), Fixed Prosthetics (crowns and bridges), Prosthetics on titanium implants and Occlusion (relation of the upper teeth with the lower ones).
In addition, as a primary dentist, he establishes a close relationship with other dental specialties, such as Periodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Maxillofacial Surgery and Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain. This allows today, through fixed prostheses on teeth or on titanium implants, added to highly aesthetic metal-free prosthetic structures, to deliver comfortable therapeutic solutions, with great functional performance, highly aesthetic and, above all, predictable over time.
